Here, our former students and apprentices tell us about their time at INDUSTRIA.
I feel it is important to experience things in practice rather than just relying on theory. That’s why I knew I would go on to do a dual study course when I obtained my Abitur (higher education entrance qualification). In my view, the main advantage of the dual study programme is the opportunity to internalise and actively use what you have learned. You are part of the world of work from day one and do not need to worry about the much-feared shock of entering professional life at the end of your studies.
I am interested in real estate. It is a future-proof, incredibly varied and innovative topic. I found INDUSTRIA through my own research and was quickly convinced by the corporate philosophy, the professional concept and the company’s many years of market experience. It is a great place to get to grips with various aspects of the real estate sector.
I successfully completed my dual study course in September 2022 and am now part of INDUSTRIA’s Fund Management team. The experiences I gained from the practical phases reinforced what I learned in the theoretical part, and I am ready for new challenges.
I am looking forward to my future at INDUSTRIA.
Read lessI have been with INDUSTRIA since August 2017. I first got to know the company through an internship and then started my training as a real estate agent in 2018.
I am originally from Afghanistan, where I attended secondary school and subsequently studied psychology. Parallel to my evening studies, I worked for four years at the Ministry of Defence in Afghanistan until I moved to Germany.
Ever since my first day at INDUSTRIA, I have felt like an equal member of the team and part of the company, and have been able to expand my language skills and technical knowledge in the real estate business on a daily basis thanks to INDUSTRIA's supportive working atmosphere. Among other things, the company supports me with targeted German lessons and technical terminology for the real estate business, so that my training as a real estate agent at INDUSTRIA is easier for me. Above all, I really like the diversity of my training and the collegial atmosphere at INDUSTRIA. You can expand your knowledge on a daily basis and have the opportunity to get to know the many facets of the real estate industry. This is done in a spirit of partnership, characterised by mutual support, constructive work and mutual respect.
This year, I successfully completed my training, was given a full-time contract and am looking forward to working with the INDUSTRIA team.
I have been at INDUSTRIA for six years now. Having successfully completed my studies at the Cooperative State University in Mannheim at the beginning of October 2021, I am currently in the final stages of my master’s degree.
The opportunities offered by a dual study programme make it the perfect choice for my future career, allowing me to combine practical and theoretical knowledge from an early stage.
At INDUSTRIA, I had the opportunity to get to know many areas of the real estate business. Students are directly involved in processes, taking part in day-to-day business and treated as an equal member of the team. This was perfect for gathering insights into each area as the basis for deciding which direction to take after graduating.
I have now taken the next step in my career here at INDUSTRIA and, after my time in transaction management, am now a Fund Manager in charge of
one of the special funds. I am delighted that INDUSTRIA has given me the
opportunity to develop further within the company.
Looking back, I am very proud to have chosen the dual study programme at the Cooperative State University in Mannheim and INDUSTRIA. Personally, I would recommend a dual study programme to anyone. In addition to work experience, you also get to meet interesting people through networking both at university and at the company. All in all, it is a great way to prepare for the start of your professional career.
As a Fund Manager, I am now looking forward to the challenges of the future and am proud to be part of the growing INDUSTRIA team.
